MINING EXECUTIVE, MARKET STRATEGIST and CULTURAL ARCHITECT
Brooke Bibeault is a mining executive and strategist redefining how the world connects resources to refinement, origin to influence, and capital to culture.
As Co-Founder and CEO of Makor Resources, she leads critical mineral developments across Africa, advancing transparent, investment-grade supply chains that power the clean energy transition and uplift artisanal and small-scale miners. Brooke’s newest venture, Compound, extends this vision into strategic advisory. Operating as a consultancy at the intersection of resources, markets, and governance, Compound supports governments, investors, and brands in strengthening the integrity of their supply chains. Its work focuses on ethical sourcing, human rights due diligence, and provenance strategies that align operational realities with regulatory expectations and investor scrutiny. Through initiatives like The Compound Index, it decodes how critical minerals, ESG narratives, and brand behavior are rewriting global value chains. Brooke operates with rare fluency across boardrooms, mine sites, and cultural institutions — building bridges that turn extraction into influence, and origin into opportunity.

The Compound Index is a quarterly intelligence lens decoding how resource policy, ESG narratives, and brand behavior shape power, perception, and progress.
Translate complex signals from mining, markets, and culture into clarity, foresight, and strategic direction for companies, governments, and brands navigating transformation.
Part data, part editorial, part cultural compass — The Compound Index sits at the intersection of systems and stories, giving decision-makers a language for the future.

Makor Resources
The blueprint for responsible mineral development
Strategic Copper
Hubology
Makor holds a premier large-scale exploration license in Zambia’s Copper Corridor—an asset with exceptional geological potential, strategically positioned within one of the world’s most critical mineral belts. This project is designed to anchor long-term copper supply for the global energy transition, backed by disciplined exploration strategy, strong local partnerships, and an investor-grade development roadmap that prioritises value creation, ESG integrity, and scalability.
Local ownership and small-scale operations formed Makor’s foundation — community-driven, high potential, and often underrecognized. We began linking small-scale license holders into clusters, sharing resources, knowledge, and structure. Through shared infrastructure, ESG oversight, and technology, Makor developed ecosystems of growth. Today, Makor is evolving into large-scale operations that integrate and empower small-scale miners — ensuring inclusivity within industrial growth while strengthening local value creation.
